Town of Cave Creek Community Calendar – Posting Guidelines Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Town of Cave Creek Community Calendar (“Calendar”). By accessing, submitting information to, registering for, or using the Calendar, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Calendar.

1. Purpose

The Calendar is provided as a public information service to help residents, visitors, community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders learn about Town-sponsored and community events taking place in or serving Cave Creek.

2. Eligibility and Appropriate Use

The Town may allow submission or publication of events that are:

1. sponsored by the Town of Cave Creek or another government entity
2. organized by schools, nonprofit organizations, service clubs, chambers, community groups,

or similar organizations serving Cave Creek

1. open to the public or otherwise of legitimate community interest or held at a Town-owned

or Town-leased facility, or otherwise connected to the Cave Creek community.

The Town may reject or remove any event, account, registration, or content in its sole discretion if it determines the submission does not align with the purpose of the Calendar or violates these Terms and Conditions.

3. User Submissions

By submitting an event or other content, you represent that:

1. the information submitted is accurate and current
2. you have authority to submit the event and any related images, logos, or other materials
3. your submission does not violate any law or third-party rights, including copyright,

trademark, privacy, or publicity rights, and your submission complies with these Terms and

Conditions.

The Town may edit submissions for length, clarity, grammar, formatting, categorization, and consistency.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited and may be rejected or removed without notice:

1. false, misleading, or deceptive information
2. profane, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, or discriminatory content
3. content promoting illegal activity
4. content that threatens public health, safety or security
5. content that infringes the rights of another person or entity
6. spam, duplicative postings, or malware-containing links
7. political campaign content
8. associated with religious institutions or services
9. any content that violates applicable local, state, or federal law are prohibited

5. No Endorsement

Publication of any event, organization, service, or link on the Calendar does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, verification, or approval by the Town of Cave Creek. The Town does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or safety of any event listing or third-party website linked through the Calendar.

6. External Links

The Calendar may include links to third-party websites or registration platforms. The Town is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

7. Registration and Account Responsibility

If registration is offered, users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for any activity occurring under their account or device. The Town may suspend or terminate access if account information is false, incomplete, or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

8. SMS/Text Message Consent

If you register for the Calendar, create an account, subscribe to updates, RSVP for an event, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number through the Calendar, you expressly consent to receive text messages from the Town of Cave Creek related to your use of the Calendar and Town communications. Such messages may include account verification, event reminders, event updates, cancellations, public information notices, service-related updates, and other non-commercial municipal communications.

By providing your mobile number, you represent that you are the subscriber for that number or have the subscriber’s permission to enroll. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving Town services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
